F. Scott Fitzgerald

F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896–1940) was an American novelist and short story writer, widely regarded as one of the greatest American writers of the 20th century. He is best known for his novel “The Great Gatsby,” a defining work of the Jazz Age that explores themes of decadence, idealism, and the American Dream. Fitzgerald’s other notable works include “This Side of Paradise,” “Tender Is the Night,” and numerous short stories that captured the spirit of the 1920s. His writing is celebrated for its lyrical prose, vivid characters, and sharp social commentary, reflecting the excesses and challenges of the Roaring Twenties.
