Emily Brontë

Emily Brontë (1818–1848) was an English novelist and poet, best known for her only novel, “Wuthering Heights.” Published in 1847 under the pseudonym Ellis Bell, “Wuthering Heights” is renowned for its innovative structure, emotional intensity, and exploration of themes such as passion, revenge, and the supernatural. The novel’s complex characters and dark, gothic elements have captivated readers for generations and secured its place as a classic of English literature. Emily Brontë was the middle of the three Brontë sisters, who each made significant contributions to literature despite their short lives.
