Virginia Woolf (1882–1941) was an influential English writer and a key figure in the modernist literary movement. Known for her innovative narrative techniques, particularly stream of consciousness, Woolf explored themes of identity, time, and the inner lives of her characters. Her notable works include “Mrs Dalloway,” “To the Lighthouse,” and “Orlando.” Woolf also played a significant role in the Bloomsbury Group, a circle of intellectuals and artists, and her essays and diaries continue to be highly regarded.
